It’s me, Buddy and the Bear…Lazy… hazy… crazy days of summer…

Days of plants, and water and weeds….

Personal assistant Note: I made a list when I retired. I guess you call it a bucket list. Two things on the top of my list were to have corgis again and  a backyard that I could be proud of. The boys and I suspended all activities including blogging, and walks (walks mostly because of rattle snakes. The Bear is not as good a listener as Buddy.) and have spent our time planting, laying pathways and rocks and weeding. We did it mostly ourselves (a little help with pavers, lawn and flowerbeds) so it does appear very rustic.  I thought that I would sit and listen to the waterfall… and enjoy the flowers… and the quiet… and read… and knit… Maybe next year…I’m still mastering weeding…and spraying…and mowing…and edging…  and trimming…

Bear, I’ve seen lizards and bugs under the bridge, but no troll.
I think every bridge needs a troll. How about you?!

Not quite sure how I landed here, just want to say I love your yard. And I love your bucket list. If you are reviving Buddy’s blog I would like to hang around

Aw-w-w! Thanks! I’m trying not to be to proud. You know what they say about pride… Killer weeds are our biggest fear! (Gophers too!)

  6. Yay!! So good to see you guys again! We missed you. Your yard is GORGEOUS! Your Personal Assistant must be really happy that Corgis aren’t (usually) too hard on landscaping. She should be VERY proud of all the work and her lovely design. Buddy, you and your sister Darby are cut from the same mold when it comes to listening–you do it well–and better than The Bear and Pumpkin! It will be nice to see you around! • Thank you! We’ve missed you all too. It did take some training to get us to leave the hibiscus alone. There’s a butterfly plant that we really like too. Slip occasionally but we get put in our place. Neither one of like to dig so that’s good, but we love to bark when we are outside. Great fun! Not so pleased PA.
      See around the blogs!
      Luv,
      Buddy

    Hi Guys,

Good to see you again. Your yard is really nice. We can’t have such a pretty yard because there are too many of us and we all love to run and roll and eat things on the ground. I should really get back to my blog, but it has been a very difficult spring and summer for my PA as three have gone to the Rainbow Bridge and she is still very sad. Hope to see more of you.

Hi! So sorry about your loss! Way to much to have happen at once. But we know that you can help ease the loss, Sammy.

Thanks for the nice words about our yard. We are just a little to proud of it. Our PA has put fences around some flowers that we like to eat and, of course, we do leave brown spots in the new grass. She says did the yard is for us too so we’ll live with it.

So glad to hear from you!

Luv, Brother Buddy and the Bear

Well I am doing my best, but the loss of Fancy was the hardest. Fancy was my PA’s first cardigan and the mother of her first Champion. She was fine in the morning and by evening she was gone. I hope all of your blogging friends will remember to really, really hug their furkids each and everyday.

Looking forward to seeing more of your blogging. Your PA is very creative. Hopefully, when things settle down, my PA will help me get my blog back up and running.

      Sammy
